Would we build communities on space surrounding gas stations for our space ships?
Regardless of how fuel efficient, or how great the battery life might be for the spaceship, we may need to have a pit stop. Or at least for spaceship maintenance.
How would we entertain ourselves while the ship gets thoroughly checked by the robot of the human form?
Would we load up on food, water, supplies, entertainment systems?
Should we get our bodies thoroughly serviced before the next take off? Update the software in our brains, like in Matrix, in how we would use while enjoying life on the ship again?
Would there be a need for hospitals, clinics, spas and bath houses in the pit stop?
In Asia, Alibaba is bringing their online store to the ground, with Hema stores, while its opponent, JD.com opened service centers in rural areas in China. Great examples are happening on earth. Amazon is smarter, they just bought Whole Foods directly to streamline the process. We shall see which examples would work out the best.
